Teacher; History of Politics

About the Role

Source Code Academia is seeking a qualified and passionate History Teacher to teach our Islamic Political System course. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Islamic Studies and possess sound knowledge of Islamic political thought, history, and governance. The candidate should also be able to critically compare Islamic and Western political systems using authentic primary sources.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging online lectures on Islamic Political System and related historical topics.

- Teach Islamic governance based on the Qur'an, Sunnah, Seerah, Khilafah, and Fiqh al-Siyāsah.

- Explain historical and political developments from both Islamic and conventional perspectives.

- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.

- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

- Participate in curriculum development and other academic activities.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Islamic Studies or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.

- Strong knowledge of the Qur'an, Sunnah, Seerah, Islamic History, and Fiqh al-Siyāsah.

- Understanding of conventional Political Science and World History.

- Ability to critically compare Islamic and Western political thought through primary sources.

- Excellent English communication and online teaching skills.

- Prior teaching experience in Islamic Studies or Islamic History will be preferred.

Company Requirements:

- This is a full-time remote (online) position.

- Teachers are required to conduct 6 teaching hours and 2 hours of academic activities daily.

- Cameras must remain on during all online classes as per company policy.

- Selected candidates must provide a professional HD photograph and participate in creating academic video content for the company's website and learning platforms.
