Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.
• Have the ability to participate as part of a team of professionals to meet the complex educational, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of the students requiring specialized programming at Valley West.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to enhance their understanding of course material and improve their skills.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and education administration to enhance instructional strategies and curriculum development.

Requirements

• DESE certified High School Mathematics or High School Special Educational Needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on mentoring students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
