Teacher Needed - Elementary School & Preschool

Duties

• Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards for elementary and preschool students
• Utilize learning technology tools to enhance classroom engagement and facilitate interactive instruction
• Design and deliver lessons in core subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs
• Support students through tutoring sessions, including test preparation for exams like the SAT and specialized science tutoring
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment
• Incorporate online instruction methods to reach students in virtual or hybrid settings when necessary
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans accordingly to ensure continuous improvement

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring elementary or preschool-aged children, including classroom management skills
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional adaptability
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms and online instruction tools
• Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and understanding different learning styles
• Expertise in teaching English language arts, mathematics, science, or special education is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues effectively
• Ability to create engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs and developmental levels
• Prior preschool experience or childcare background is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work with children of various ages in educational settings
