Teacher of the Deaf (FTE 1.0)

West Hartford Public Schools seeks to fill the position of Teacher of the Deaf. The Teacher of the Deaf will support students in the deaf and hard of hearing community in a myriad of ways: Direct service, support of language facilitators and interpreters, community engagement, as well as staff collaboration and training to promote environmental success for students on the caseload. Fluency in American Sign Language is preferred.
