Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned instruction to secondary classes . The ideal candidate should have a strong subject background, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire a love of science in students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Biology to students in following the prescribed curriculum (CBSE / ICSE / State Board / IGCSE / IB – adjust as needed).
- Prepare and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, lab activities, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
- Conduct laboratory sessions ensuring safety and active participation of students.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through tests, projects, and regular assessments.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Provide academic support and mentorship to students as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology / Life Sciences or a related field.
- B.Ed. mandatory
- Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience at the secondary level (can be adjusted).
- Strong knowledge of the subject and ability to relate concepts to real-life applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Familiarity with technology-aided teaching tools (smart boards, online learning platforms, etc.).
