Teacher - Texas Certification in Math, Science or Social Studies - TJJD

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Secondary School Teacher with certification in Science, Social Studies, or Math to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fostering student learning, a strong background in their subject area, and experience in classroom instruction. This role involves developing engaging curricula, managing classroom activities, and supporting students' academic growth across various disciplines. Candidates should be committed to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards in Science, Social Studies, or Math, utilizing instructional design best practices.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate innovative teaching methods and learning technology.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations.
• Manage classroom behavior to create a positive and productive learning environment.
• Provide individualized support through tutoring and mentoring to students requiring additional assistance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and curriculum enhancements.

Skills

• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Experience working with students of varying backgrounds including special education needs is preferred.
• Skills in standardized testing preparation and educational research are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability in mentoring students academically and behaviorally while promoting higher education pathways. Pay: $5,060.13 - $7,854.04 per month
