Teacher Trainer

Location: DHA Phase 1, Lahore

Shift: 01:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Working Days: Monday to Friday (Alternate Saturdays)

About the Role

My Tutor Source (MTS) is seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher Trainer to join our Academic & Training Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training, onboarding, and mentoring newly hired teachers while ensuring they meet the company's teaching standards and protocols. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills to maintain the quality of our teaching workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for newly hired teachers.
  • Organize and evaluate mock teaching sessions to assess teaching competencies.
  • Manage the complete onboarding process for new teachers.
  • Review and approve teaching audio recordings submitted by candidates.
  • Address and resolve issues related to teacher training, onboarding, and classroom readiness.
  • Monitor the shadowing process of newly hired teachers and ensure they successfully complete all required training stages.
  • Update teacher status and maintain accurate training records upon successful completion of shadowing.
  • Conduct coaching and feedback sessions with teachers who fail to follow company protocols during introductory or live teaching sessions.
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend improvement plans to enhance teaching quality.
  • Maintain and regularly update training documentation, including:
  • MTS Master Teachers List
  • Teachers' Mock Session Checklist
  • Shadowing Status Tracker
  • Training Progress Reports
  • Collaborate with the Academic and Operations teams to ensure consistent teaching quality.
  • Assist in developing and improving training materials, SOPs, and teaching resources.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Academic Manager or Head of Training.

Requirments

  • 3–4 years of experience in teacher training, academic coordination, instructional coaching, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of online teaching methodologies and international curricula (IGCSE, GCSE, O Level, A Level, IB, or equivalent).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong classroom observation and evaluation skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and coach teachers toward continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training batches simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online meeting platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
