Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers to join our educational team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in early childhood education and classroom management, with experience working with children across various age groups. Teachers will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic and social development. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives through innovative teaching methods and personalized instruction.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula tailored to diverse learning needs, including literacy, math, physical education, and special education programs.
  • Design engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, creativity, and social skills.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and nurturing environment conducive to learning.
  • Assess student progress through observations, standardized testing, and formative assessments; adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Support early intervention initiatives and provide individualized support for students with special needs or developmental delays.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through clear communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral incidents in compliance with school policies.
  • Incorporate diverse teaching strategies such as Montessori methods or other specialized approaches to enhance student engagement.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational best practices and curriculum standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; additional certifications in early childhood or special education preferred.
  • Proven experience working with children in classroom settings, including preschool, daycare, or private school environments.
  • Knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment tools including standardized testing.
  • Experience with literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and tutoring is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and diverse learning styles.
  • Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
