Teacher's Aide

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Teacher's Assistant to join our team. As a Teacher's Assistant, you will work closely with the co-teacher to support the educational and developmental needs of our children who are ages 6 weeks to 18 months old. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and contribute to their academic success. Part-time: 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. We are open year-round, and only applicants who are available to work during the school year and summer should apply.

Duties:
- Assist an experienced teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to students in the classroom
- Model Christian values and teach basic Biblical principles
- Collaborate with the co-teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist in classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Monitor student progress and communicate with parents/guardians as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Requirements:

-Ability to pass a Federal Criminal Background Check
- Have reliable transportation
- Demonstrate strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and be able to stand for the duration of the shift

- Must be 18 years of age or older

-Must have GED completion, or be at least a high school graduate
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
