Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic goals. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences inside and outside.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Assess student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies and help facilitate opportunities for other staff as well.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the educational experience.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Records for monthly meetings and planning.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Education or a related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Previous teaching experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students of varying backgrounds.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Familiarity with technology in the classroom is a plus, as well as an openness to integrating innovative teaching methods.
  • Must meet Colorado state requirements for lead teacher and director role.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
