Python Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead – Insurance Technology & Data Solutions to guide the design, development, and deployment of digital and data-driven initiatives across our insurance platforms. With over 8 years of experience in the insurance domain, you will play a pivotal role in leading technical teams, driving innovation, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, compliant, and efficient technology solutions. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and HTML is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of insurance applications and data solutions using Python, SQL, and HTML.

• Collaborate with business, underwriting, claims, and IT teams to design and implement digital workflows and automation in insurance operations.

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to generate insights that improve underwriting, pricing, claims handling, and customer engagement.

• Build and optimize data pipelines, scripts, and APIs for integration with internal and third-party systems.

• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security regulations within the insurance industry.

• Oversee the design and execution of dashboards, web interfaces, and reporting tools tailored to business users.

• Mentor junior developers, analysts, and team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for technical solutions in insurance platforms and contribute to strategic technology planning.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in the insurance industry (life, P&C, health, or specialty insurance).

• Proven hands-on experience with Python (for scripting, data processing, automation), SQL (complex queries, data extraction), and HTML (web interface customization/integration).

• Strong understanding of insurance business processes including policy administration, claims, and regulatory reporting.

• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL) and data visualization tools.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
