The Team Lead must excel at communication, have strong organization skills, be able to multi-task, and strong attention to detail. Industry and Project Management experience will allow this PM to properly teach, train, and guide an Account Team to be successful under their management. Ultimately, the Team Lead is responsible for meeting deadlines, customer satisfaction, and maintaining/improving profitability of all projects handled by their Account Team, while being responsible for performance, and professional growth of all Account Team members.
Essential Functions
- Manage Account Team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Project Support Personnel
- Monitor Account Team communications, service level, efficiency, overall processing skills and competencies.
- Verify completion of all tasks to close-out construction projects assigned to Account Team
- Demonstrate Industry Knowledge
- Troubleshoot general contractor field issues quickly and efficiently
- Communicate relevant account information to proper internal personnel
- Responsible for minimizing errors, oversights, back-charges on Account Team Projects
- Conduct regular interval and annual performance appraisals for Account Team
- Responsible for achieving and maintaining high standard of competency and accuracy for all work performed by the Project Team
- Identify Account Team training needs, train as required, or reach out to arrange for training
- Escalate customer issues to appropriate parties for timely resolution
- Provide technical support and work as a direct contact between the design, sales and operations staff
- Ability to travel to job sites and customer locations as needed
- Perform other functions as required for successful operation of the organization
- Identify areas to improve efficiency and/or service
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, and legal documents such as contracts. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community with clarify and professionalism.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts calculating margins.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- PMP Certification is strongly preferred

- Handle high volume of work (Approx 200K per Person per Quarter)
- Minimize mistakes (ICO less than .65% of total invoiced)
- Learn and Retrain Product Knowledge (Average Test Scores of 9.0 out of 10.0 or greater average for all team members)
- Ability to maintain or increase profit margin (Gross Margin of 35% or greater per quarter for all accounts assigned)
- Minimize team related inter-company issues on orders, purchase orders, and collections (Metric TBD)
