Team Lead – Boba Barista

Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Team Lead – Boba Barista to oversee daily operations at our bubble tea shop. This role combines hands-on drink preparation with leadership responsibilities, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient workflow, and high-quality beverages. The Team Lead will support staff, maintain store standards, and help create a positive and energetic environment for both customers and team members.

Duties

• Lead and supervise baristas during shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations
• Prepare and serve bubble tea, milk teas, and specialty drinks according to recipes and quality standards
• Train new employees on drink preparation, customer service, and store procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly
• Manage shift schedules, breaks, and task assignments
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies (tea, tapioca pearls, syrups, etc.)
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and health regulations are consistently followed
• Handle cash transactions, opening/closing duties, and daily reports
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista, food service worker, or in a similar role
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a bubble tea or specialty beverage shop
• Knowledge of drink customization and ingredient pairing
• Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
