Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day driver operations, ensuring smooth scheduling, attendance, and fleet utilization.
- Manage driver recruitment, onboarding, and training to meet business requirements.
- Monitor driver performance using KPIs such as on-time deliveries, route adherence, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Handle driver engagement, grievances, and retention initiatives to reduce attrition.
- Ensure drivers comply with safety standards, licenses, insurance, and company policies.
- Utilize telematics, GPS, and dash-cam data to improve driver behavior and safety.
- Coordinate with maintenance, logistics planning, and technology teams to resolve operational issues quickly.
- Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, driver productivity, and incident tracking for management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs, reduce downtime, and enhance efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate degree (preferred in logistics, supply chain, or related field).
- 3–6 years of experience in driver/fleet operations, logistics, or last-mile delivery.
- Proven team management experience, handling large groups of drivers/operators.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, fleet utilization, and logistics KPIs.
- Familiarity with telematics/GPS/dash-cam tools will be an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience in EV fleet operations will be a strong plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
