Job Title: Logistics Transporter

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Logistics Transporter to oversee and optimize our transportation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing transportation activities, managing logistics, controlling costs, and fostering strong vendor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight:

- Direct, plan, and oversee transportation activities, including dispatching, routing, and tracking vehicles and shipments.

2. Logistics & Scheduling:

- Develop and schedule efficient shipping routes.

- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries.

3. Cost Control:

- Monitor transportation costs and prepare budgets.

- Identify strategies to reduce expenses.

4. Vendor & Customer Relations:

- Collaborate with suppliers and customers.

- Manage vendor contracts.

- Handle customer complaints.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

1. Leadership:

- Ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team of transportation professionals.

2. Analytical & Problem-Solving:

- Skills to analyse transportation data and identify areas for improvement.

- Ability to make decisions under pressure.

Requirements:

- Relevant 10Yrs experience in logistics and transportation.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications :

- Graduate

- Post Graduate in Logistics and supply management would be more preferable
