Job Title: Team Lead – Freight Broker
Location: Quark Atrium, Sector 74, Mohali
Shift: 5:30 PM to 2:30AM ; Onsite role
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Lead – Freight Broker to oversee freight brokerage operations, lead a team of freight brokers, and ensure smooth coordination between shippers and carriers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of the USA freight brokerage process, and the ability to drive performance while maintaining high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of freight brokers, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Freight Coordination: Oversee daily freight operations, ensuring timely movement of goods and adherence to schedules.
• Carrier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, ensuring capacity, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Performance Monitoring: Track team KPIs, monitor broker performance, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Process Improvement: Identify gaps in workflow and propose process enhancements for operational efficiency.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all freight transactions comply with industry regulations and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years experience in USA freight brokerage (team lead experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of freight brokerage operations, logistics, and transportation management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in freight management software and MS Office tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
