Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor's in Food Science and Technology
Experience:
At least 2 years of relevant work experience, FMCG preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Checks and ensures availability of skilled/unskilled workers on production lines as per production schedules.

Liaises with administration in case of unavailability of workers required for production tasks.

Visits plants to monitor availability and productivity of workers.

Manages rotation of workers on production lines in order to utilize manpower in effective and efficient manners.

Guides workers on production processes, SOPs, standards and required quality level; Addresses process/standards related concerns/queries of workers.

Trains new workers and briefs on processes, food safety/hygiene standards, contributing factors on traceability, and fundamentals of production plants/machines/processes.

Monitors variations in production processes and ensures high quality of materials.

Finds ways to minimize crumb generation and resource utilization e.g., manpower, energy, material etc.

Scrutinizes production processes to ensure adherence with standards, highlights anomalies in production practices and ensures elimination of reoccurrence of malfunctioning.

Ensures plant efficiency through quality enhancement and wastage control measures.

Uploads wastage control reports on SAP including details of crumb generation, plant/machine downtime, material utilization, wastage control target progress, CPM utilization, resource utilization on daily basis.

Analyzes existing processes, finds areas of improvement and devises measures to control wastage.

Shares areas of improvement with supervisors for feedback and accordingly incorporates suggestions in implementation of measures.

Trains workers on adherence with quality standards, seamless operations and leaner processes

Implements measures to minimize food safety complaints and hazards; Ensures reduction in complaints regarding quality.

Analyzes existing processes and brainstorms cost saving solutions; Engages with team to obtain and discuss ideas on cost saving alternatives.

Assesses feasibility of cost saving solutions; Proposes solutions to manager for cost reduction, process efficacy and high productivity.
