Job Purpose
Overseeing day-to-day maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and increase productivity to achieve maintenance KPI’s.
What you will do in your role

Lead and assign Implementation of maintenance activities to achieve maintenance schedule,

Implement regular inspections and servicing machinery and equipment.

Oversee daily troubleshooting of equipment failures and coordinate timely repairs.

Supervise and lead the maintenance technicians, ensuring effective performance and development.

Assist in budgeting for maintenance activities, controlling weekly costs, and managing resources effectively.

Provide regular reports on maintenance performance metrics, including downtime, repair times, and costs.

Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Lead the achievement of objectives through reviewing the individual objectives and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal to maximize subordinate performance.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior engineers and technicians to maximize subordinate performance.

Train the teams concerned technically to increase their productivity level.
What you will bring to the role

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.

From 4 to 6 experience in Maintenance Engineering, preferably FMCG.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and maintenance best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
