The Team Leader is responsible for providing expert travel consultation, designing customized travel packages, closing sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. In addition, this role includes supervising and guiding a team of Travel Consultants by monitoring performance, supporting daily operations, and ensuring targets are met. The ideal candidate should have strong sales experience, deep travel product knowledge, and proven leadership skills.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Handle client inquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings.
  • Recommend suitable travel packages based on client needs and budget.
  • Prepare quotations, itineraries, and travel proposals with clear inclusions and exclusions.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Promote additional services (insurance, activities, upgrades, add-ons).
  • Manage flight, hotel, tour, visa, and transfer bookings end-to-end.
  • Coordinate with DMCs, suppliers, and vendors to secure best rates and availability.
  • Review booking details to ensure accuracy and timely confirmations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat bookings.
  • Handle escalations, complaints, and urgent requests professionally.
  • Ensure clients have a smooth travel experience through proper coordination with suppliers.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Travel Consultants.
  • Allocate tasks and ensure all inquiries and leads are attended promptly.
  • Conduct daily/weekly team briefings to track progress and challenges.
  • Train new team members on sales techniques, destination updates, and company systems.
  • Monitor performance, review targets, and provide guidance for improvement.
  • Support management in preparing team performance reports.
  • Ensure team members follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Create detailed itineraries for global destinations.
  • Stay updated on travel trends, visa requirements, airline fare rules, and seasonal promotions.
  • Share destination knowledge and updates with the team.
  • Maintain accurate booking records, client follow-ups, and sales data.
  • Submit weekly and monthly performance reports (individual & team).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, travel regulations, and quality standards.
