Team Leader (Travel & Tourism)

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Team Leader to manage our travel and tourism team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the UAE's vibrant tourism sector, a proven track record in team management, and a deep understanding of local attractions, tours, and travel logistics. This role involves leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of travel consultants to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of travel consultants, ensuring high performance and productivity.
• Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to provide feedback, set goals, and address challenges.
• Develop and implement strategies to motivate the team and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Handle complex customer queries and escalated issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

2. Sales & Operations

• Drive sales for a variety of travel products, including tours, excursions, visa services, and holiday packages.
• Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about current market trends, new destinations, and product offerings.
• Oversee the booking process, from initial inquiry to final confirmation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Work closely with suppliers, airlines, and hoteliers to secure the best rates and services.

3. Product Knowledge & Training

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the UAE's tourism landscape, including popular destinations, activities, and emerging trends.
• Train new and existing team members on company products, sales techniques, and customer service standards.

4. Client Relationship Management

• Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and corporate partners to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Ensure the team provides top-notch customer service at every stage of the client journey.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance service quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry within the UAE.
• Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tourist destinations, visa regulations, and travel logistics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
