Team Leader/Supervisor - F&B

Position Summary:

The Team Leader (Supervisor) at Dee Truffles Coffee Shop is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring high-quality beverage preparation and exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising team members, maintaining product quality and consistency, and ensuring the overall smooth functioning of the café in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:Team Supervision & Leadership

  • Lead and motivate the front-of-house team during shifts.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to baristas and service staff.
  • Train new staff on coffee preparation, customer service, and safety protocols.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Ensure team members follow standard operating procedures and hygiene standards.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor coffee preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and the shop floor.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when needed.
  • Address equipment issues and report to the Store Manager or Maintenance.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver a warm, welcoming environment for all customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Promote customer loyalty and satisfaction through exceptional service.
  • Monitor service speed and flow during peak hours to optimize performance.

Sales & Promotion

  • Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales.
  • Support in executing promotions, seasonal offerings, and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure all health and safety standards are maintained (HACCP or local food safety standards).
  • Conduct regular checks to comply with cleanliness and hygiene protocols.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to food handling and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a barista or coffee shop role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Hospitality or F&B training preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and trends.
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask during busy hours.
  • Basic POS and inventory management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
