Job Responsibilities:

Manage onsite Design and Product Engineering team – This position will have onsite Mechanical / Electrical Design Engineers and Product Engineers (Mechanical / Electrical / Controls) reporting into it.

Expected team size: 40+ Engineers.

Provide guidance to the team (technical / non-technical) as required.

Develop plan and lead skill building / skill enhancement activities of the team. Create training material and impart training.

Review monthly report and timesheets from team members, leave management, provide data for financial activities.

Seek periodic customer feedback about onsite engineers and take necessary actions.

Employee Engagement, Proactive employee connect (formal / informal)

Support Recruitment Activities for Design and Product Engineering functions – Understanding of JD, Screening of Profiles, Conducting Technical Interviews/Tests, Preparation of profiles for submitting to customer.

Creation of training packs and imparting / coordinating pre-interview training to candidates.

Coordination of technical interviews and test with client.

Coordination of activities for deployment of onsite employee to client.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Experience - 8 to 12 Years
-
Qualification - BE/ BTech. / ME / MTech in Mechanical / Production / Aerospace Engineering or Equivalent

Sound experience in Design and Product development activities. Should possess good understanding of the overall product design and development cycle.

Good skillsets in design tools (Creo, NX, SolidWorks), Good understanding of GD&T

Good understanding of tools and techniques such as DFSS, DVA, DFM/DFA/DFS, 7-step problem solving process.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as casting, fabrication, forging, plastic moulding, etc.

Good understanding of mechanical product domains such as engines and engine applications.

Ability to develop training material and impart trainings.

Good verbal and written communication skills, Good Team Player.

Good skills in MS-office tools. Ability to create reports and documentation for leadership review.
