Duties

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for orders, payments, and refunds
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all food prep areas, dining spaces, and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, especially quick service or fast food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to learn new technology quickly
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order calculations
• Experience working in a café or retail grocery setting is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential
