TEAM MEMBER -EK
Job Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for safety-critical airside environment, performing aircraft loading and offloading activities and operating high loaders in compliance with approved plans, SOPs, and airside regulations. The role supports on-time aircraft turnaround through close coordination with Team Leaders, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and immediate escalation of any incidents or hazards. The role supports safe, efficient, and compliant airside operations by carrying out aircraft loading activities working closely with team leaders and supervisors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Execute aircraft loading and offloading activities accurately and on time in accordance with Galley Loading Plans (GLP), SOPs, and safety requirements.
Safely operate and marshal high loaders in compliance with airside regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
Adhere to all airside safety procedures, regulations, and company policies to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
Support on-time aircraft turnaround by coordinating effectively with team leaders and other stakeholders.
Work closely with team leaders, promptly communicating operational status, issues or hazards.
Immediately escalate any incident or safety concern to the Team Leader without delay.
Follow the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance ISO 9001:2000 international standards and executes his responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
Maintain personal compliance with mandatory training, certifications, PPE usage, and fitness-for-duty requirements to ensure readiness for airside operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience
Education Qualification:
Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in the food or logistics industry, experience in airline catering is preferred.
Skills:
Good communication skills in written and spoken English
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a diverse, multinational team
