Job Purpose

This role is responsible for ensuring that all products and marketing literature/ collaterals of BSLAMC are compliant as per SEBI, AMFI and applicable regulatory norms. The role is also responsible for ensuring that the organization is updated on any announcements pertaining to regulatory changes so as to mitigate any risk that may arise out of non-compliance with respect to product stipulations laid out by regulators.

Job Context & Major Challenges

BSLAMC offers investors a range of comprehensive investment options, which includes diversified and sector specific equity schemes, hybrid funds and a wide range of debt and treasury products. Its offerings also include Portfolio advisory services for High Net worth individuals as well as offshore funds for Non Resident Indians. There are approx. 176 schemes managed by the organisation as on Dec 2015. The Company follows a long – term, fundamental research based approach to investment and thrives to provide a transparent and ethical services to its investors.

KRA1 Product Compliance o Ensures that news products launched meet 100% compliance and regulatory requirements

• Prepares SID, files it with SEBI for approval and proactively provides clarifications if any to SEBI about the new product
• Engages with internal product team for any product specific queries from SEBI
  
  

KRA2 Facilities, Asset Allocation and Merger of schemes o Provides updates to SEBI in case of changes in facilities for products like SIP, SWP and load structure

• Prepares addendum to be issued in newspapers about the changes and provides the same to SEBI
• Seeks approval from SEBI, trustees and directors in case of changes in asset allocation
