Starting Salary: $41,200 Annually: Additional compensation may be considered based on experience.

Job Overview:
A Discovery team specialist is an important role of the prosecutor’s office. As a team member of the discovery division, after a case has been heard in court, Discovery Division is responsible for procuring and managing evidence needed for all court cases. It is a high paced, multi tasked role that submits requests to various police, school and retail after all available evidence has been determined.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Access to multiple different county and city agencies to obtain reports and supported evidence to complete the case file.
- Organize and distribute incoming evidence whether in the mail, interdepartmental, email or electronic submission.
- Assist with additional prosecutor requests related to their cases as needed.
- Evidence must be managed in a consistent, systematic, timely manner in order to assure accuracy and efficiency.
- Confidentiality is essential. Background check required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks.
- Team player attitude and willingness to help others.
- Reliability in attendance.
- Effective Time management skills.
- Ability to accept change or redirection.
- Highly organized.
- Computer skills and awareness necessary to navigate through several systems throughout the day.
