Tech Engineer ( Broadband ) ( Marthandam Location)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Tech Engineer (Broadband) to join our team. The role involves handling broadband installations, troubleshooting network issues, customer support, and ensuring seamless internet connectivity. The candidate should have hands-on experience with networking devices, fiber/FTTH technology, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain broadband connections (FTTH, Fiber, Wi-Fi routers, switches).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot internet connectivity issues for customers.
• Perform on-site technical support and resolve service-related complaints.
• Coordinate with the backend/ NOC team for escalated issues.
• Handle basic networking tasks – IP configuration, router/modem setup, Wi-Fi optimization.
• Maintain service quality and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
• Document service reports and updates after each job.
• Provide excellent customer service during visits or calls.

Requirements

• Diploma/ITI/Graduate in Electronics, Networking, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in broadband/ISP/telecom field (Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Router configuration).
• Knowledge of FTTH, Fiber splicing, ONU/OLT configuration is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and flexible timing as per requirement.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
