Job Description – Tech Lead (Truckrr)

Location: Chennai, Thoraipakkam OMR, Smartworks / WFO (Hybrid Optional)

About Truckrr

Truckrr is a fast-growing logistics technology startup building platforms to empower truckers, streamline vehicle operations, and connect loads to trucks efficiently. We are at MVP stage with our products – Truckrr HERO (driver app) and Truckrr ONE (owner/web app), and now developing TRUCKRR LOADS for booking and managing logistics digitally.

Tech Stack

• Backend: .NET Core
• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JS
• Mobile: Flutter (Android/iOS)
• Database: SQL, ElasticSearch
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the technology team to deliver scalable and reliable products.
• Drive architecture, design, and development of Truckrr’s web and mobile apps.
• Coordinate daily scrums, sprint planning, and ensure agile best practices.
• Translate business requirements (BRD/FRD) into clear tech tasks and sprints.
• Assign and monitor tasks for backend, frontend, and mobile developers.
• Ensure quality code practices – version control, code reviews, automated tests.
• Oversee deployment on AWS infrastructure, manage uptime, and system logs.
• Work closely with Product Manager and CEO to prioritize roadmap features.
• Integrate third-party APIs (maps, payments, logistics APIs, etc.)
• Guide DevOps and security implementations (server monitoring, failovers, etc.)
• Mentor junior developers and ensure upskilling.
• Key Requirements
• 6+ years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Hands-on experience in .NET Core and Flutter is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, database design, and system architecture.
• Experience in AWS services and basic DevOps (CI/CD, load balancing, scaling).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Exposure to startup work culture and agile development.
