Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Technical Advisor with operational aircraft experience to support an innovative program. The successful candidate will bring strong DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) relationships to facilitate program engagements, technology transitions, and cross-organizational technical alignment. This role integrates technical and management functions, including coordination, scheduling, documentation, and the development of program roadmaps, technology insertion plans, and risk management strategies. The advisor will also engage with mission partners, transition agents, and operational stakeholders to support experimentation, rapid development, and transition objectives. Additional responsibilities include conducting technical and programmatic analyses to identify critical technology areas, evaluating technology readiness levels, managing transition activities, and supporting proposal evaluations. Travel may be required to support performer, stakeholder, and transition partner engagements.

Required Experience:
- 
M.S. or M.B.A. degree.
- 
Minimum of 25 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs).
- 
Demonstrated DoD or IC Program Management experience, preferably as a named Program Manager.
- 
Proven ability to coordinate, communicate, and navigate DARPA and DoD programmatic processes.
- 
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage high-priority, rapid-response efforts.
- 
Flexibility and adaptability to evolving program and mission requirements.
- 
Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Desired Experience:
- 
Demonstrated experience providing on-site support to DARPA programs, including direct support to a DARPA Program Manager.
- 
Deep understanding of special mission areas across the Services and Combatant Commands.
- 
Experience managing all phases of rapid acquisition programs.
- 
Operational aircraft experience and familiarity with operations or strike planning.
- 
Experience working with diverse government partners and across joint organizations.
- 
Familiarity with EUCOM and/or INDOPACOM problem sets.
- 
Expertise as a Joint Warfare Subject Matter Expert (SME).
