Technical Aide

Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

Research Data Collection and Organization – 30%

Assist with collection, entry, organization, and maintenance of research data. Maintain accurate study records, organize case information, and ensure data are entered consistently according to study protocols.

Echocardiographic Data Measurement – 30%

Perform standardized measurements from echocardiographic studies under supervision. Assist with organization of echocardiographic images and recording of cardiac measurement data for research analysis.

ECG and Holter Data Review – 30%

Assist with review and measurement of ECG and Holter monitoring data. Duties may include organizing ECG files, reviewing rhythm data, recording heart rate and rhythm variables, and assisting with arrhythmia data extraction.

General Research Support – 10%

Assist investigators and research staff with general project-related tasks, including file organization, quality control checks, preparation of data for analysis, and other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree

Desired Qualifications: Bachelors degree and some experience in organizing data.
