Technical Assistant (Construction Chemicals / Building Materials)

Location: Badr City, Cairo, Egypt

CASTECH, a leading provider of construction chemicals and building materials , is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to support our technical operations and product development activities.

This position will play a key role in assisting the Technical Department with documentation, product submittals, trials, and reporting , ensuring smooth coordination across projects and stakeholders.

• Assist in the preparation of technical submittals, product data sheets (TDS), MSDS, and supporting documentation .
• Support the planning, organization, and execution of laboratory and site trials , including accurate data collection and technical reporting.
• Ensure timely delivery of technical documentation to consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of product approvals, technical reports, and compliance documentation .
• Provide professional support to the Technical Manager and senior engineers in daily operations.
• Contribute to product development initiatives by assisting in testing, evaluations, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and clients to facilitate technical communications when required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science .
• 2–3 years of proven experience within the construction chemicals, building materials, or related technical fields .
• Strong knowledge of technical documentation and standards (ASTM, EN, BS, or equivalent).
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in report writing, and technical presentations .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
