Technical Buyer – Civil

Job Summary:

We are hiring Technical Buyers (Civil) with strong UAE-Dubai experience to manage the procurement of civil construction materials, equipment, and services while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and procure civil construction materials and equipment
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors for cost optimization
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules
• Coordinate with site engineers and stores teams for material requirements
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation
• Ensure all materials meet technical specifications and quality standards
• Assist in vendor registration, evaluation, and relationship management
• Support the Purchase Manager in daily procurement operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Diploma in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical buying / construction procurement
• Mandatory UAE-Dubai experience
• Age: Up to 30 years
• Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and local market sourcing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems

Preferred Skills:

• Experience dealing with UAE suppliers and subcontractors
• Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and follow-up discipline
