Technical Closer

About the Role

Expert System Solution (ESS) is looking for highly experienced technical professionals to join our team as Technical Closers on a contractual basis. This role is designed for senior-level software professionals who combine strong technical expertise with exceptional communication and client-facing skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, understanding business and technical requirements, presenting suitable software solutions, and supporting the sales process through to successful deal closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Development team throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide technical insights, estimations, and recommendations during client engagements.
• Build trust and credibility with prospects through technical expertise.
• Support the conversion of opportunities into successful business deals.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to confidently engage with clients and key stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, development methodologies, and modern technologies.
• Previous experience in client-facing or stakeholder-facing roles is highly preferred.
• Self-motivated, professional, and results-oriented.
