Role: Technical Consultant – EQUATION

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support EQUATION Core Banking System modules (e.g., Loans, Deposits, Payments, Treasury, Trade Finance).
• Requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design for banking products.
• Configure and customize EQUATION to align with business processes.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for incident management and issue resolution.
• Work on system upgrades, migrations, and integration with other banking applications (e.g., digital banking, CRM, regulatory systems).
• Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Conduct user training, UAT, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Finastra EQUATION Core Banking System.
• Deep understanding of retail, corporate, and treasury banking operations.
• Experience in system implementation, migration, or support.
• Familiarity with COBOL, RPG, CL, DB2, and IBM iSeries (AS/400) is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of interfaces, APIs, and integration frameworks used in core banking.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Banking domain certifications are an added advantage.

Relevant Experience: 6+ Years

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Finastra-related products (Fusion Equation, Fusion Essence, Fusion Digital).
• Exposure to cloud migration of core banking systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Basel, IFRS, AML/KYC, local compliance).
