For our office in Cairo, we are looking for:

Technical Coordinator (Egypt) - 100% (m/f)

The ideal candidate will support the technical management and coordination of multidisciplinary design and engineering activities across rail projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives,
stakeholder requirements, and applicable standard.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical inputs and design deliverables across disciplines (civil,structural, systems, MEP, etc.) for rail infrastructure projects.
• Act as the main liaison between teams, facilitating smoot communication, progress tracking, and technical integration.
• Support project managers in aligning design submissions with contract requirements, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, technical submittals, and design reports.
• Identify and resolve technical conflicts, interface issues, and coordination gaps in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regional authority standards (e.g., RTA, MoT) and international rail design standards (e.g., AREMA, BS, UIC, EN).
• Participate in design review meetings, client workshops, and coordination sessions.
• Track technical risks, contribute to mitigation strategies, and maintain documentation of decisions and changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Bachelor's degree in civil engineering Engineering or relevant technical discipline (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience, with strong exposure to rail projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate between multi-office teams and manage interfaces across international locations.
• Familiarity with railway systems integration, alignment design, stations, and associated infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of design standards and authority guidelines relevant to rail in the region.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
