Technical Coordinator
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in rail infrastructure projects and be based in Dubai/Abu Dhabi with regular travel to Jordan. They will support the technical management and coordination of multidisciplinary design and engineering activities across rail projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, stakeholder requirements, and applicable standards
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate technical inputs and design deliverables across disciplines (civil, structural, systems, MEP, etc.) for rail infrastructure projects.
• Act as the main liaison between Dubai and Jordan-based teams, facilitating smooth communication, progress tracking, and technical integration.
• Support project managers in aligning design submissions with contract requirements, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, technical submittals, and design reports.
• Identify and resolve technical conflicts, interface issues, and coordination gaps in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regional authority standards (e.g., RTA, MoT) and international rail design standards (e.g., AREMA, BS, UIC, EN).
• Participate in design review meetings, client workshops, and coordination sessions across both UAE and Jordan-based projects.
• Track technical risks, contribute to mitigation strategies, and maintain documentation of decisions and changes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant technical discipline (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 8 10 years of experience, with strong exposure to rail projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate between multi-office teams and manage interfaces across international locations.
• Familiarity with railway systems integration, alignment design, stations, and associated infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of design standards and authority guidelines relevant to rail in the region.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently between Dubai and Jordan as per project needs.
