Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Design Manager – Aluminum & Façade to lead and manage façade design activities from concept through fabrication and installation. The role requires strong technical expertise in aluminum and façade systems, coordination with consultants and project teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the façade and aluminum design team and manage all technical design deliverables
• Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Develop and approve façade system designs, shop drawings, method statements, and calculations
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for design approvals
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, local authority regulations, and international standards
• Provide technical solutions, value engineering proposals, and constructability reviews
• Support estimation, procurement, and production teams with technical inputs
• Attend design coordination meetings and client presentations as required
• Oversee mock-ups, testing requirements, and material approvals
• Ensure timely submission and approval of all design-related documents

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in aluminum and façade design and engineering
• Proven experience in managing façade design teams and complex projects
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, unitized systems, stick systems, cladding, and glazing
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and façade design software is an advantage
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience working in the UAE/GCC market is mandatory
