Technical Designer

SKILLS /ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Coordinate with production teams and factory to secure consistency and efficiency

· Coordinate with develop teams and solve issues when problems arise

· Review Dup comment with TD for the new styles and trouble styles at the beginning of season

· Review fit/PP sample with production team for the fabric, color, placement issue, make sure the spec and sewing construction are matching customer’s requirement before sending.

· Attend daily fitting. Review and discuss with customer for fit, spec and pattern issue.

· Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Majority of communication is with overseas via email, Wechat or phone, and with customer on daily basis.

· Communicate with factory and solve for all the fit, spec and pattern issue

· Print out and Review customer TP/comment, adding fit pictures for construction details and additional comment to explain the points of customer required before sending to factory

· Review T&A chart and follow up fit/PP/TOP sample status with factory

· Update fit comment, bulk status and ETD extension to Nansil weekly chart and send to Nansil/TD every Monday.

· Prepare QC reports for the season

· Review cutting permission chart with production team and Brand manager, send out the comment after reaching final decision.

· Finish daily tasks before leaving for the day. If not, must inform Brand manager in order to make further arrangement.

Experience:

• Garment construction: 2 years (Required)
• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
• Production planning: 2 years (Preferred)
