Technical Designer for Interior Fit out

We are seeking a skilled Technical Designer to join our dynamic fit-out team. You will be responsible for transforming design concepts into accurate, buildable construction and shop drawings, ensuring seamless execution on site. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong technical knowledge of interior construction, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce comprehensive construction drawing packages (floor plans, elevations, sections, RCPs, details) using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop detailed joinery and millwork shop drawings for custom interiors.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure design intent is maintained while adhering to practical and budgetary constraints.
• Conduct site surveys and generate accurate as-built drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards (e.g., ADA/DDA).
• Manage drawing revisions and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in problem-solving and value engineering during the design development phase.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Essential Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (advanced level) for 2D construction documentation.
• Experience with Revit (BIM) for 3D modeling and integrated drawing production.
• Strong ability in technical detailing, specifically for interior fit-out and custom joinery.
• Solid understanding of interior construction methods, materials, and building systems (metal stud framing, drywall, ceilings, flooring).
• Working knowledge of local building codes and accessibility standards relevant to commercial interiors.

Practical & Process Skills:

• Proven experience in creating full construction drawing sets for interior fit-out projects (commercial office, hospitality, retail, etc.).
• Ability to interpret design intent and translate it into precise technical documentation.
• Experience conducting site measurements and surveys.
• Familiarity with drawing management, version control, and revision processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
