Technical Director

JMC is working with a well established commercial helicopter operator in the Middle East, is seeking an exceptional Technical Director to lead their Maintenance, CAMO, Fleet and Compliance Departments.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, compliance, and technical excellence of mixed rotary- and fixed-wing fleet, serving the Oil & Gas, VVIP, and government sectors.

About the Role

As Technical Director, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership for Engineering MRO & 145, Airworthiness & CAMO, and Fleet Management.

• Serve as the GCAA CAMO Postholder, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with international aviation standards.

• Oversee fleet optimization, aircraft acquisition and disposal, and technical support for their expanding operations.

• Drive a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across diverse teams.

• Represent the company at industry forums, with regulators, and in global OEM networks.

About You

We are looking for a proven aviation leader who brings:

• 25 years + experience of progressive aviation engineering and airworthiness experience, including 10+ years in the helicopter Oil & Gas sector.

• Strong knowledge of Part 145 and CAMO within EASA/CASA/GCAA environments.

• Senior leadership experience as a Postholder or Director.

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Maintenance Engineering (Master’s desirable).

• Valid international maintenance license (EASA/CASA/GCAA recognized).

• A track record of delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective technical operations.
