Technical Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify electrical designs, shop drawings, and material submittals in line with project specifications.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with Green Building regulations, and local authority standards including DEWA, SIRA, DCD, Etisalat, and Du.
• Prepare technical reports, load schedules, voltage drop calculations, cable sizing, and design documentation.
• Provide site technical support, supervise installation works, and resolve technical issues.
• Manage and prepare authority submissions, follow-up for approvals and NOCs.
• Develop and update As-Built drawings, O&M documents, and close-out technical files.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 8–10 years of UAE experience in MEP contracting (must have).
• Proven experience in high-rise buildings and luxury villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design and MEP coordination.
• Experience in Low-Current Systems including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Telephone/Data, SMATV, Intercom, etc.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & MS Office; experience with Revit / Navisworks is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of load calculations, cable sizing, and electrical design standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple project tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
