Project Planning & Technical Design
- Develop and review Scopes of Work (SoW), drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications to ensure accurate project definition.
- Collaborate with internal departments to capture all project requirements and constraints.
- Ensure all designs fully comply with QCDD/Civil Defense, regulatory standards, and association guidelines.
Tendering & Procurement Leadership
- Prepare complete tender packages, including SoW and technical specifications.
- Evaluate technical bids and provide professional recommendations for contractor selection.
- Support procurement by ensuring quality materials and competitive quotations.
Site Management & Technical Supervision
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved designs.
- Coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, and FM teams to resolve technical issues quickly.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented on time and at the required quality and safety level.
Cost Control, Documentation & Project Handover
- Review and validate contractor invoices, variations, and claims based on site progress and contract terms.
- Maintain complete technical documentation, test certificates, and approvals.
- Support the preparation of final handover packages and ensure smooth project closeout.
Reporting & Compliance
- Deliver clear weekly project reports highlighting progress, risks, delays, and required management decisions.
- Escalate critical issues promptly to senior management.
- Ensure full compliance with UDC/TPOC policies, QHSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, facilities management, or community infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of QCDD, Civil Defense, and local authority regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD and ERP systems (preferably MS Dynamics 365).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic an advantage).
- Experience working within mixed-use or residential tower environments is preferred.
