Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and carryout new installations, modifications and tie-ins of facility’s systems and networks
• Supervise & guide staff involved in new installations, repair, and maintenance activities
• Provide day-to-day engineering & technical advice to team members
• Establish requirements for spare parts and ensure that these are sufficiently stocked to meet all maintenance and repair needs
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment, systems or required materials and participate in the technical evaluation of bids
• Ensure availability of project equipment based on mobilization plans
• Monitor expenditure, prepare cost estimates and justification for equipment
• Compliance in accordance with Company policies & procedures, Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct and HSE standards
• This is a generalist view of a Job that you have been assigned for – at times you will be asked to do above/beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirements
• Participate in welding R&D efforts including the timely completion of all assigned actions in support of company and departmental strategic goals
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent
• For Welding Engineer: Welding Inspection Certificate, NDT Level II or III, NEBOSH are required
• Minimum 06 years of related work experience in similar industries
