Technical Engineer

A&M International is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with strong technical expertise, engineering knowledge, and the ability to support project teams throughout all stages of project execution.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing technical support, reviewing engineering documentation, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring that all technical aspects of projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, material approvals, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and local regulations.
• Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and technical coordination activities.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations when required.
• Monitor project progress and ensure technical requirements are met within approved timelines.
• Support quality assurance and quality control processes across projects.
• Maintain accurate project records, technical reports, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience within the United Arab Emirates in a Technical Engineer or related engineering role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project execution processes.
• Experience in reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations, engineering standards, and approval procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on construction, fit-out, infrastructure, or MEP projects.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and project management practices.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
• Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and priorities simultaneously.
