Technical Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Engineer (Civil) to join our Construction team in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide technical support and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project managers, site engineers, and construction teams.
• Prepare and submit method statements, material and technical submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely approvals.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
• Assist in resolving engineering and construction-related technical challenges during project execution.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical recommendations to support timely completion.
• Maintain accurate records of technical submissions, approvals, revisions, and project documentation.
• Support design coordination and ensure the proper implementation of approved drawings on site.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to facilitate efficient project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in civil construction, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering/design software.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and design coordination.
• Good understanding of UAE construction standards, local authority regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects is preferred.
