Technical Engineer (Aluminum, Facade & Glass)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer with strong experience in aluminum, facade, and glass works. The candidate will be responsible for design, estimation, execution, and coordination of projects from concept to completion.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical Work

• Prepare AutoCAD shop drawings and joinery drawings (mandatory)
• Develop and review curtain wall and facade designs
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards

Estimation & BOQ

• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimations
• Handle quotations and project costing
• Use MS Excel for estimation and reporting

Project Execution & Coordination

• Coordinate with site teams, clients, and consultants
• Manage project timelines and ensure smooth execution
• Support installation and site activities

Quantity Surveying

• Perform material take-offs and quantity analysis
• Monitor project costs and variations

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
• Civil Engineering
• Architectural Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Or related field
• Experience:
• Minimum 6–8 years in aluminum & glass fabrication industry
• Experience in curtain wall / facade projects
• Oman / GCC experience preferred
