Technical Engineer - (Buildings and Villas)

GCI Contracting (under LEOS Developments) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Engineer – Site & Client Coordination to support ongoing villa and mid-rise residential building projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong technical, site coordination, and client management experience within reputable contracting companies in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between the site team and clients, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
• Review IFC drawings, project specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with design and contractual requirements.
• Monitor site progress and provide technical guidance to site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Resolve technical issues on-site promptly to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation as required.
• Coordinate and attend site meetings, design reviews, and inspections with clients and consultants.
• Support procurement with technical clarifications, material approvals, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and safety teams to ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and UAE regulations.
• Maintain accurate technical records, drawings, and correspondence for project documentation.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong understanding of residential construction, site execution, and technical coordination.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with clients, consultants, and site teams.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation accurately.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
• BIM/Revit exposure is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or relevant Engineering discipline (Mandatory).
• Minimum 5–10 years of UAE experience in construction projects, with proven site and client coordination experience.
• Experience in villa, mid-rise, or mixed-use building projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards, safety regulations, and contract compliance.
