Technical Engineer(Civil)

Job Description – Technical Engineer (High-Rise Building Construction)

• Review and study project drawings, specifications, BOQ, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, project managers, and site engineers for technical clarifications.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals for consultant approval.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Review and verify material submittals and technical data sheets before submission.
• Support site team in resolving technical issues and design discrepancies.
• Coordinate with planning, QA/QC, and procurement departments for technical requirements.
• Monitor and control design changes, RFIs (Request for Information), and revisions of drawings.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, safety standards, and project quality requirements.
• Participate in technical meetings with consultants and clients.
• Maintain proper documentation and record of approvals, drawings, and technical correspondence.
• Provide technical support during construction of structural, architectural, and MEP works in high-rise projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure correct implementation of approved drawings and methods.

Basic Requirements (Optional section for job posting)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–8 years experience in high-rise building construction (UAE preferred).
• Strong knowledge of shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
