Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist in the development and maintenance of technical systems or products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to clients or internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, or engineering systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users or clients.
- Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of new systems, products, or upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and support staff to ensure smooth deployment of technical solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Train users or clients on product/system functionality and best practices.
- Maintain and monitor systems for performance, reliability, and security.
- Coordinate with vendors or third-party service providers when needed.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or developers when necessary.
- Stay current with new technologies, industry trends, and product knowledge.
Maintain infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, and security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
- Perform MS Active Directory tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly
- Monitor data-center health using existing management tools, and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed
- Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root causes, and provide technical support when needed.
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups Candidate Profile:
- Proven success in an IT role with a minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Experience in Windows server operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, systems performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
- Experience with Cloud Applications and handling of Microsoft 365 . EXCHANGE
- Experience in FortiGate/Sophos Firewall policy creation, SD-WAN routing, VPN connection, SSL Certificates.
- Familiar with Veeam Backup & Replication application for backup jobs, restoring backups, and cloud backup.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant systems, hardware, or software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, or manuals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle pressure and prioritize tasks.
Preferred Skills & Tools (Based on Industry):
- IT/Software: Windows/Linux, Networking, SQL, VMware, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), ticketing systems.
- Manufacturing/Electronics: PLCs, CAD software, product testing, quality assurance, mechanical systems.
- General: Scripting (PowerShell, Python), monitoring tools, CRM or ERP systems.
Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):
- CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+
- Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCSE)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- ITIL Foundation
- PMP (for project-focused roles)
Working Conditions:
- May require travel to client sites or remote locations.
- On-call availability or extended hours during critical incidents or project deadlines.
Priority will be given to Bahraini National , Expats can be considered as well.

Pay: BD450.000 - BD500.000 per month
