We are looking for a Technical Lead to support the ongoing digital transformation journey of a leading bank in the GCC. The ideal candidate will play a dual role leading solution design and overseeing hands-on delivery, while also supporting sales and client engagement.

We are looking for a Technical Lead to support the ongoing digital transformation journey of a leading bank in the GCC. The ideal candidate will play a dual role leading solution design and overseeing hands-on delivery, while also supporting sales and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Business Development
- Support sales strategies to drive growth in the Financial Services sector, focusing on digital and technology-led transformations
- Identify and engage with potential clients to understand needs and shape tailored technical solutions
- Solution Design & Architecture
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions aligned with the client's enterprise architecture
- Design digital platforms using SOA, Open APIs, Microservices, and API Management tools
- Provide strategic guidance on technology modernization, IT strategy, and innovation
- Project Delivery
- Lead Agile/DevOps-driven project implementations across GCC clients
- Act as hands-on lead for project delivery, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction
- Manage hybrid delivery teams of 10 25+ members (onshore/offshore)
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with DefineX digital and technical experts to craft winning solutions
- Coordinate with the broader DefineX technology team (350+ professionals, mainly in Turkey) for delivery support
Qualifications
- Experience
- 15+ years in Financial Services technology roles, including 5+ years in a senior consulting, technical leadership, or digital transformation role
- Background in either top-tier consulting firms or leading bank technology divisions
- Experience with large-scale transformations in Personal/Corporate Banking or Core Banking systems
- Technical Expertise
- Strong command of enterprise architecture, application platforms, and integration technologies
- Deep knowledge of:
- Microservices, Containerization, API platforms
- Cloud, Agile, DevOps methodologies
- Core transformation and digital channels (web/mobile)
- Delivery & Communication
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across geographies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic preferred)
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
